Speaking of connecting with others...someone could easily create an Xfire "clan" for Mariusnet, which is free, and allow folks who need a TFL opponent to hook up that way too. Just a thought...
Just an fyi, if you have Myth II installed on your computer, you no longer need the CD to play. Just go to Projectmagma.net and upgrade (free) to the latest version so you can connect to mnet when you go online (bnet and playmyth are no more).
Just tried to download the latest patch so that I can start playing Myth TFL online but when I click on the patch 1.5 it just sends me back to the map patches with Delux at the top, I tried to just mouse on to the 1.5 patch then mouse over to the download icon but that doesnt do anything either excpet windows acts like its doing something for a while....but not! Its taken me hours to find out where myth is played these days and now that I have found the place I cant get online because I cant get the patches..... Some help would be appreciated here..
Do get Sir Mauriac's Tale, it contains a solo campaign for TFL.
You'll have a hard time finding others to play TFL with. The Myth II demo is available from http://tain.totalcodex.net/mythii/demos and can be played on Mariusnet with the same username and password.
Oh fantastic! I added that maurics tale or what ever its called and now not only will the game not load but I cant delete the Bloody file or uninstal it!
I've never heard of anything like that and Mauriac's Tale works so it sounds like some kind of computer problem, probably either a crashed copy of TFL still running or file system corruption. Try rebooting and checking for viruses.
