it would not take off. the belt is moving, not the plane, so there is no air coming in on the airplane in order to give it lift. the engine is at wide open throttle but it wont make a difference because its not getting headwind. gg all! owned by KIRK KROK KOUNT KROKULA DAVEY KROKETT LOLLOLOL

Obviously that plane photo is a fake. You can see the distorted glassy photoshop filter they used very clearly in the picture.

harrier = real....

I find it hard to believe any military will use treadmills as a run way for planes.... How will they land ? how strong will the rubber be for take off. what if they break than no planes can take off from a carrier. Replacing rubber where concrete should be is a bad idea.... Too many working parts steam catapult works just fine.....

Could it work? I doubt it at least for jet planes, maybe props. But I doubt it..
