Oh my DA..I have soo many TFL films, I wouldn't know where to begin!
I miss everything!
From the dorf bottle bounce that can make an easy win go the other way.
Mainly it's the friends. I remember getting on certain nights and they were always on. Now it takes soo much just to get them on once a year (MWC) and that is even getting harder.
There is no favorite...its just a bunch of years that are rolled into 1 huge memory or feeling.
I have those moments from time to time when I see old skoolerz on.

my favorite memories of TFL include playing on a 14.4k dialup connection, and getting disconnected from 2/3 of the games i joined.

actually... what i miss most is cheating. ck..cl...backwards and sideways fetch shots... top dropping... communal dummy accounts... trow games that turned into cb and cl fests at the drop of a dime... man that [blam] was fun.

wish i still had films \:\(

TFL 1.0x's inability to zoom out... the way TFL would crash if too many satchels would explode at once (William Wallace, I'm looking at you!)... exloding jman root.... all the Wights exploding at once at the flag... 10 minute sudden deaths

Making this TFL movie didn't even make a dent in all the films I had saved over the years, but it was fun looking back at some of those aforementioned moments.

Oops, that link was mistakenly pointing to the wrong movie, here's the TFL movie link for an easier to download version.

ohhh yeah.

One I actually showed to a bunch of non-myther friends that got a big laugh was a film played on the u2 plug, the [cb] knows creep variant... you know, the one with the DREAM? yeah, well of course when it first came out, it took a lot of people a while to realize that it was actually there to use.

This one game I played 5 on 5, I had made it my sole mission in life to dream the enemy flag, although the other team didn't even pick up their own dream, not even realizing what it was.

So after about 5 botched attempts (self-puss, blocked puss, dud puss, puss didn't ignite the dream, and to add insult to... well insult, the dream ended up right next to their flag... unscathed), I think I had about one red ghol left, which I took allll the way back across the map to grab one last puss. Meanwhile, as I was doing that, someone on their team literally asked out loud "hey, what's that yellow thing on the ground?"

like a minute passes... I'm closing in on my final attempt....

and juuust as I'm approaching the flag, the same guy whispers to his team "wait... I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!"

and litereally at the same time my last puss packet is flying through the air, he goes "THAT'S A DREAM DFOR ALRIC!!1!"

pop pop pop pop

flag captured

game over.

couldn't have scripted it better \:D

Ahhh, nostalgia...

My favorite myth moments....hmmm, would have to be Trow games, last second rushes, big flanks, dwarves chasing after souls trying to get that last 1%. This is what makes me miss myth.

Some classic moments would include a freak incident in which a couple dwarves were killed and all their satchels flew back to the trows and nearly killed two of them entirely. There was so much cool stuff that could happen. If only TFL were still played, I would play a game of Trow every night.

Legendary, 0 casualties, approaching the world knot with only thrall in my way, my 82 vet dorf throws a bottle and kills my own dorf, the now deceased dorf's bottle is propelled through the air to demolish my archers as the rest of my men are mown down as I sit idly by... in shock.

I remember both. I was in the 1984 order for a short while as well, before I joined DUI with Shaitan, FL, SunStyle, etc.

Good times.
