adding units in loathing

hi in loathing i cant change wich unit to add. ive read that im suposed to click and hold the warrior button to view a menu wich to choose from the units i added in the marker palett, but i cant make the menu show...? $\:\($

click on the warrior-icon then a small window should appear with a pop-up selection box containing all the units on the map.

damn i cant see it... im on windows 7, might that be the reason? tried compability mode and older versions of loathing

What version of Loathing are you using? The old version of Loathing had an issue where some windows would start to appear off screen.

If you haven't done already, get the latest update. It includes the latest versions of Loathing and Fear.

i use loathing included with the magma 1.7.1 patch... hmm u think running it in virtual pc might help?

in fact, i cant see any of the pop up menus... did some reinstallments to.,.. arghh

It might be possible this happened because you ran an old version of Loathing. Download this file. Extract it and double click it. Then click on Yes. This should fix the issue and set the window positions to show on the screen. At least it does for me on XP.
