Hi!

So we all know formations are key to every game. What are you formation settings and how do you use them?

(I've just installed myth again and my old settings are on my powermac in storage)

e.g. here are the default formations

too lazy to check mine but you probably want something like loose line near default separation but more units per row, 8 or 9 perhaps. then you want a line with much more separation for your archers with again an 8 or 9 max per row. then a tight box

loose line with default separation is for your melee when its doing anything but meleeing to minimize pus/explosions, you should only box at the very instant you intend to melee fight

looser line for archers should help from archers getting crossed up with each other when arch dueling, also minimizes pus damage.

also when you arch duel you should click directly side to side to stop archers from walking into each other as they try to get into a new formation.

why did i type all this
