Yeah, yeah, I know it won't be the same as having full keyboard and mouse control. But I was idly kicking around the idea with a dev friend of mine and we were wondering what the licensing deal is for the current version of Myth? Not sure how one would handle the need for CD authentication, etc. Seems a pity that all iPhone RTS games are so resource-building oriented, with combat more of an afterthought.

Currently, as far as I know, there is no 'licensing' deal with Myth. It may not be explicitly forbidden by whatever agreement was initially agreed on, but the group developing Myth has no permission to distribute full versions of Myth, nor to port it to different platforms, but they are definitely not allowed to charge money for it or make money from it. Myth belongs the sole intellectual property of TakeTwo Interactive.

Also, the current versions of Myth do not require CD authentication.
