hi i was just wondering y amber was not remade so it is compatable with mac osx so that i can mess around and try and make my own units. is this possible to make it for mac osx?
Remaking a program is not that easy. Maybe if a programmer had the original source code of Amber it would be easier. But that source code is either lost or just not around. However, there is another program called Oak being made by Project Magma that will do what Amber can plus more (like detailing maps). There will be Windows and Mac OSX versions of Oak. I can't be sure, but I think a public beta will be out sometime around the release of the Myth II 1.7.1 update. That will likely be somewhere near the end of the year or early next year.
